
Part of our Urban Arts Series, the Houston Black Entertainers Expo’s purpose is to bring together Black professionals within various facets of the entertainment industry throughout Houston to inform, empower, and engage artists and creatives who are seeking invaluable knowledge and opportunities within all aspects of the entertainment industry. This year’s Expo will be a two-day event showcasing all aspects of the entertainment industry and what the best of Houston has to offer through our Monologues X Martinis: Urban Theater Competition, and our entertainment workshop all with the backdrop of lively host, DJ, industry expert panelists, and a live music performance.

ENTERTAINMENT
Our Monologues X Martinies event to be held at Henke & Pilot brings a different flare to the theater world. A monologue competition mixed with a DJ set, hilarious host, and lively performance by a major recording artist - attendees will definitely delight in what the best of Houston has to offer in artistic quality of entertainment.
FILM SCREENING
With Houston being a hotbed for up and coming filmmakers, selected filmmakers' artistic works will be on full HD display in a theater setting as attendees celebrate the film achievements of directors, producers, and everyone involved in the film making process.
WORKSHOP
Our entertainment workshop is open for artists and creatives who desire to gain knowledge, tips, and pointers of the entertainment industry via experts in the areas of film/tv,theater,
recorded/live music, and fashion in breakout sessions. Our guest panelists will also share their experiences within their own beginnings and journey in the industries.
H-TOWN FLAVA
Our three day event will feature an eclectic mix of the arts, dope music, good drinks, education, and everything in between all held at one of downtown Houston's livest night spots as well as historical institutions. We're bringing a whole new vibe to Houston's creative scene as to continue to push to be a powerhouse of an agency in serving as a hub for the artist and creative community of color.
